On November 19th 2022 the much awaited film India’s sons was released by its creators. The film is directed by Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj and Neeraj Kumar and produced by Shonee Kapoor, narration of the film is done by Bollywood actor Karan Oberoi. Mr. Shonee Kapoor the producer of the film says “that we wish to take the voice of the victims of false rape cases to the lawmakers so that this serious problem is addressed.” The directors also added that false rape cases are destroying lives across the country. If rape laws are not looked upon then one day, we shall reach a point where they shall be called legal terrorism just like IPC 498a which would be very sad as rape is a heinous crime. This film is a great medium to create awareness on multiple aspects of life. The film talks about how false rape cases are effecting the lives of the innocent people across the country. The film dares to talk about a story that no one wants to talk about. Talking about the sufferings of a man, accused under a false rape case and the repercussions faced by the family. Misuse of law is not only bad for men but also for the genuine victims. Watch this film to educate yourself and understand a different side of the story from the perspective of a man.
