A Senior IAS Officer of Hyderabad has approached the Banjara Hills police alleging that his wife and in-laws are harassing and threatening to foist false cases on him.
The 2014 batch IAS Officer, in his complaint, alleged that his wife and his in-laws were harassing and threatening him to impose false cases on him.
Further, he alleged that his wife and in-laws were also threatening him to foist false cases of domestic violence and dowry harassment against him and pressurizing him for transferring his properties in the name of his wife.
Based on the complaint made by the IAS Officer, the Banjara Hills police booked a case under various sections and have also initiated an investigation.
Sandeep Kumar Jha, who is currently serving as Joint Secretary in Telangana IT Department, got married to Pallavi Jha in Korba, Chhattisgarh in 2021. The couple was happy initially after the marriage, however, the differences began coming up, and some people told this who know the family.
Consequently, Pallavi accused Sandeep of Domestic Violence, dowry harassment and also forcing her to get into the act of making unnatural sex. In this regard, a complaint has also been lodged with Korba police in Chhattisgarh.
Alleging police inaction, Pallavi approached a local court in June this year, which after hearing arguments, directed the police to register an FIR against the IAS officer.
The case is still on, and the Hyderabad police now booked a case against Sandeep’s wife and his in-laws.
