Pakistani man appeals to Modi government to send back his wife & kids

Gulam Haider, the husband of Seema Haider the Pakistani woman who illegally came to India through Nepal to meet and stay with the man she met on the popular gaming app PUBG mobile, made a plea to the Indian government to send his wife and children back to Pakistan.

Haider who is currently residing in Saudi Arabia, appealed Indian government through a video message in which he requested the Narendra Modi Government to look into the matter. Through his video message, he requested the Indian Government to send back his wife and kids to Pakistan safely. He also made allegations that his wife was lured and manipulated to come to India through the online gaming app, PUBG.

Gulam Haider expressed his gratitude and thanked the Indian media for their unexpected support which helped him locate his wife as well as children. He also appealed for ensuring the safe and sound return of his family to their home country Pakistan where they could get reunited.

The Pakistani woman and her Indian partner were arrested by the police in case of an illegal stay in India. However, they got bail on Friday from a court in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Seema Ghulam Haider (around 30) and Sachin Meena (around 25) were arrested on July 04. Seema was charged with entering India illegally while Sachin was booked for giving shelter to an illegal immigrant.

The Couple, Sachin and Seema had confessed their love for each other in front of the Police as well as the media on July 04. Additionally, they urged the government to give them permission to get married and live together in India.

The couple had come into contact in 2019 while playing the online game PUBG and eventually got too closer. Due to which, she decided to come to India to get the love of her life.

Advocate Hemant Krishna Parashar, who represented the accused, said that the bail was granted to the two by Justice Nazim Akbar of the Jewar Civil Court junior division.

He further said the court has given conditional bail to the woman stating that Seema would not change her place of residence as long as the case is in the court and the couple would also regularly give their attendance before the court.
