An Incident of Acid Assault Occurred in the Cooperganj area of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday Night, in Which a Woman Allegedly Threw Acid on Her Spouse’s Face Following a Confrontation Regarding Her Lateness.

The Identified Victim is 40-year-old Dabbu Gupta. As Demonstrated in a Viral Video, the Spouse Provided a Statement to the Media Regarding the Ordeal.

When I asked my wife Poonam the reason for her delay in returning home, she retorted saying it was none of my business. Soon after, a fight broke out between us following which she picked up acid from the washroom and threw it on my face.

The Victim, Dabbu, Called for Imprisonment of the Alleged Perpetrator, Poonam, and Requested Access to Adequate Medical Treatment for a Swift Recovery. Currently, Dabbu is Hospitalized at Ursala Hospital.

Kanpur Police Statement

The Accused Wife has Been Confirmed as Arrested by a Kanpur Police Official, According to Zee News.

A case has been registered at the Collector Ganj police station and the woman has been arrested.
